SENSIL PROPULSION SYSTEM

New, innovative SENSIL propulsion system. Only limited by your imagination

Force & Electroproject’s SENSIL Linear Synchronous Motors (LSM) system offers unique, continuous line stator configuration, reducing launch zone requirement.

Ironless LSM stators and magnet arrays

The SENSIL system uses a carbon fibre composite magnet array, unique in the industry, which offers significant weight saving over traditional steel magnet frames whilst providing the structural integrity required to hold the bespoke Halbach Array Nd magnets in correct alignment.

The Components

The SENSIL System is made up of 3 parts:

The Stator

The stator is patent pending, passively cooled via integrated heat sink – forced air or water cooling options are available for extreme ambient heat and high duty operation

The Magnet Array

The SENSIL system uses a carbon fibre composite magnet array, unique in the industry, which offers significant weight saving over traditional steel magnet frames

The Control

The SENSIL control system allows the unique sensor-less continuous  stator layout, using feedback from the stators to determine position and speed of the magnet arrays.

Applications

The SENSIL System can be used for many applications, such as:

Upcoming Confirmed Projects

SENSIL LSM will power the unique slide coaster designed and built by Wiegand.waterrides Gmbh and Up and Down Engineering

Launching the drive vehicle to 30mph (50km/h) along the inclined track will push the passenger rafts into the flume section to continue the thrill ride.

SENSIL LSM then controls the drive vehicles return to the launch point, recovering energy into the system during the journey.
